Member Updates and Check-in

Meetings start promptly at 8:00. During this section,  Members can talk about their business or personal changes or updates. This will include exciting developments and sometimes issues that need to be processed during the three Spotlights.

Accountability KPIs

Leaders are generally only accountable to themselves You cannot hide in Apex Boardroom and your fellow members are there to keep you accountable. Each meeting, we make a variety of commitments that you want to be held accountable for. In addition, everyone will be required to provide KPIs on their business. Of course, everything shared in Apex is confidential.

1st Spotlight

1-2 Spotlights will be pre-scheduled. Although, we want to allow sudden and important issues to be able to be raised on the day of the meeting. The Members are to frame up a question for the group. The executive coach and moderator will clarify the ask of the group. Then everyone will have a chance to provide their suggested solutions to the issue while the Spotlight member listens and takes notes.

Break

There are no cell phones allowed in the meeting to make sure everyone is fully present. Your break time is when you can grab your phone and check-in.

2nd Spotlight

We like to keep each Spotlight to 45 minutes. We find even if you aren’t being spotlighted, the suggestions and solutions will be relevant to most of the other Members in the room.

3rd Spotlight

On occasion, we process issues quickly and can add other topics to the meeting.

Key Take-Aways

This is where everyone can verbalize their key take-aways from the meeting.

If it is a live meeting, we encourage Members to gather for lunch. If Members are in town for dinner, we always suggest connecting for dinner.
